Assume that your better half or parent asked you to prove that you loved them. Probably your reaction either verbally or in the form of moves will be to exhibit your love for them. You may like to buy them gifts, tell them you love them and do things that will make them happy and so no. When it comes to our belief as Muslims the entire idea of being a Muslim widely depends on our love for Allah. Our love and respect for His words,
His Messengers and everything that Islam evangelizes is a way of knowing how much we love Allah. But how do we illustrate this love? We can’t see Allah and it will be strange to look up into the sky and say I love you, Allah. So how do we display love for the one who created us?
Reveal Your Love with Obedience
There is nothing that Allah asks of us more than obedience and compliance. Our obedience in worshiping Him and in enduring all that He asks of us is one of the great ways to illustrate our love. The similar way that a child would display love to his parents by obeying their rules and orders so that they can be pleased with him, a Muslim arrays their love of Allah by obeying His commands, directions and living their lives within the instructions of Islam. Embracing Allah means praying five times regularly. It means endorsing all the five pillars of Islam, being fine to your family, relatives, friends, neighbors and even strangers. It also means being urged to read the Quran, perform discretionary acts of worship and reforming your character such that every day you wake up you endeavor to be the best person that you can be. Most essentially obeying Allah means never fusing partners with Him. It means that you uphold faith to the oneness of Allah, His supremacy and all that He consign us through Prophet Muhammad (SAW). If you desire to show your love to the Creator, you have to obey the things that please Him the most.
Exhibit Your Love with Abstinence
On the contrary, the end of showing love through compliance is showing love through abstinence from the actions that Allah hates. When you proclaim that you love someone, you do not wish to cause them pain or do anything that will displease them. You do not desire to make them angry or go near actions that you know may affect your relationship with them. We assuredly can’t hurt Allah but we can displease Him when we go against His directions. And this is where our wrongdoings come from. Every time we do something that He has straightly cautioned us against, we are not showing that we love Him. Reveal your love for Allah by avoiding what He has asked us to abstain from. Abstain from shirk, hypocrisy, backbiting, oppression, gambling and every other vice that the Quran has cautioned us against. Prevent habits that debase your faith such that you rejoice in committing sins. If we desire to show that we love Allah it means that we will urge to do what He loves and try to stay away from what He dislikes.
Show Your Affection with the Search for Knowledge
Allah demanded us to know Him before we worship Him because that is the only approach that we can worship Him as He should be worshiped. Our love for Allah can be demonstrated by how much we seek knowledge about Him and about our religion Islam. Learn more about what Allah says in the Quran and your heart will be infused with the intimacy of Him. Know what He actually directs us to do so that you can do exactly what he commands. Constantly that a Muslim searches for actual knowledge with loyalty, it pleases Allah and even be bounties. The seek for knowledge allures our hearts to the religion and of course causes us to love our Creator more. Reveal your love in the good deeds that you do, in the bad deeds that you effort to stay away from and in the struggles that you make in understanding your deen. Because all of these are approaches by which a servant of Allah can display their love for Him. Islam teaches the necessity of both belief and practice.
Ornament Your House With Islamic Accessories
Whether it's your bedroom, living room or office there are numerous choices to decorate the walls of a Muslim home. There are a lot of designs of Islamic stickers for walls that can enhance the beauty of your house. Hang Islamic wall art of Arabic calligraphy, Islamic architecture or Quran ayah such as the Ayatul Kursi or 4 Qul, inspiring landscapes and so much more.
Six Prime Beliefs
The following six beliefs are those that are conventionally held by Muslims as disbursed in the Quran and Hadith.
- Faith in the Oneness of Allah
- Belief in the Angels of Allah
- Belief in the Books of Allah
- Faith in the Prophets of Allah
- Belief in the Day of Judgment
- Belief in the Divine Decree
Islam means consent to the will of God. Therefore Muslims put foremost emphasis on obeying God as set down in Islamic law. Islam’s worldview is an intuition of individual and mutual moral responsibility. The aspiration of Islamic law is to offer the guidelines and essentials for two types of interactions, those between human beings and God and those between human beings or social affairs. Both have private and public extents and both give Islam a bulging public role in Muslim community life.
